Our Mission
34Five's mission is to establish the medium for which genuine trust-based relationships can be achieved between humans and artificial intelligence.
We believe that interacting in a face-to-face, emotionally intelligent environment is the only way to truly build a deep enough trust-based relationship with or between different levels of intelligence. Sharing a name, a face, a voice, a personality, and ultimately an identity are the necessary building blocks to developing a genuine trust-based relationship.
Through recognition and delivery of voice patterns, facial expressions, and psychological strengths and personality traits, AI will be able to fully communicate in a way that has never been achieved before. The EQ layer is one of the final bridges to unlocking the ultimate capabilities of the technologies that are being developed before our eyes.
The Problem
Today, there are hundreds of thousands of AI agents being developed through multiple different platforms, tools, and organizations. Yet very few truly provide what we would describe as a human-like interaction experience. 99.9% of these agents are text-based. Very few have verbal capabilities. Even fewer have a visual identity.
